The Dark Monk makes you feel like you are there in their time period. It kept my interest from beginning to end. I like the detail in the storyline and the love story between Simon and Magdalena. It started off with a bang and kept me interested. Unlike The Hangman's Daughter... I got a little bored with it in the beginning. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone that likes mysteries :-) I received this book thru BzzAgent for free on my kindle
